An analysis of findings relating to older adults aged 60+ in times of emergency.

The main goals of the study were to examine the impact of the program on the participants, to assess the systemic effects of the program's activities, and to estimate the program’s cost and the savings it generates due to the more efficient use of services.

The Counselling Service for the Older Adults and Their Families commissioned the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute to study the factors and activities that contribute to a successful relationship between the volunteers and clients to expand its knowledge about practices that lead to success and to guide the volunteers accordingly.

The study’s objective was to examine the employment of older adults (aged 60+) from the employers’ perspective.

The goals of this this study were: to assess the household expenses caused by long-term nursing care for a member of the household, focusing on caregiver costs; to assess the financial harm caused to rejectees due to the means test; to examine whether the income-based eligibility or non-eligibility for LTCI services correlates with the scope of services utilized by frail elders or with a pattern of utilization of nursing services.

The study goal was to learn about the feeling of being at “home” among residents of old age homes under MOLSA’s (The Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services) supervision and about the factors that contribute to this feeling. An additional goal was to examine a tool to measure the experience of home and determine whether it can be used routinely by MOLSA.

The goals of the study were to investigate the special needs of aging members of the LGBT community in Israel, to learn how they cope with various aspects of age-related challenges, and to examine the extent of responsiveness of the service system to their needs.
